The Crossroad Lobby

The Mandarin Hotel Lobby consists of two floors. By bringing nature properties into the main lobby entrance creates an emphasis on sense of place. The first floor lobby then opens up into the second floor creating a void to view from above. The elements and design of second floor entails the story of the fast pace life in Wuhan. An overall of straight sharp edges with a blend of soft curves finds its balance at Mandarin Oriental located at the center of Wuhan City.
